Willie Cooper

Mr. Willie Arthur Cooper, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Monday June 26, 2023, at his residence, having attained the age of 76 years, 4 months & 10 days. He was born in Albany, Kentucky on Sunday, February 16, 1947 the son of Roscoe Albert & Mary Antha (Westmoreland) Cooper. He was a Christian, a member of Life Temple Pentecostal, and a local farmer in Clinton County. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Rose Cooper, siblings, John Cooper, Riley Cooper, Ross Cooper, Odell Cooper, Geneva Hicks, Maria Brumley, Dolly Davis, Reba Gregory, and a grandchild, Brayden Cooper.

     He is survived by his children, Zella Cooper, Lisa (& Tommy) Cooper, Donna (& Josh) Cooper, all of Albany, Kentucky, and Connie (& David) Cooper of Burkesville Kentucky, siblings, Shirley Cooper, Betty Davis, and Obie Cooper all of Monticello, Kentucky, Brenda Stonecipher and Danny Cooper both of Albany Kentucky, Paul Cooper of Lexington Kentucky, grandchildren, Mary Rains, Nancy Rains, Hannah Cooper, Josh Cooper, Courtney Willis, Matthew Cooper (& Serrenna Perdue), and Tristan Wallace, and 7 great-grandchildren.

     The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. C.S.T. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky with Bro. Tracy Humble officiating. Family will receive friends, at Campbell-New Funeral Home, from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Davis Chapel Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky. Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky is honored to be in charge of arrangements.
