Vickie (Abney) Carden

Ms. Vickie Rene (Abney) Carden, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky, having attained the age of 68 years, 2 months, and 13 days. She was born in Corona, California, on Wednesday, February 16, 1955, the daughter of Robert Jr. and Ruth Mae (Shelton) Abney. Ms. Carden was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a cosmetologist and enjoyed her work as a cake decorator. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Ms. Vickie Carden is survived by her daughter, Tabitha Stratton (& special friend, Bill McClanahan) of Albany, Kentucky, siblings, Bobbi Ironmonger of Nicholasville, Kentucky, and Debbie Smithson of  Sebastian, Florida, grandchildren, Caleb (& Katie) Chambers, and Colton Chambers all of Elizabethton, Tennessee, great grandchildren, Calum Chambers and Krew Chambers, and other relatives and friends.
