Mr. Tim W. Guffey of Albany, Kentucky passed away Friday, August 09, 2019, at The Medical Center at Albany. He was born in New Castle, Indiana on Thursday, March 8, 1956, the son of E.W. Guffey and Hazel (Byers) Simmons. He was of Baptist faith and a Security Officer for Keystone Foods. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Albertson and his step-father, J. D. Simmons. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Kempton) Guffey of Albany, Kentucky, daughter, Amanda Guffey of Monticello, Kentucky, son, Tyler Guffey of Albany, Kentucky, brother, Jerry Guffey of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, grandchild, Makenzie Orton, with many other relatives and friends. The funeral service was conducted Tuesday, August 13, 2019, in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Henry Stringer officiating. Burial was in the Craig Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Johnny Goodman, David C. Guffey, Zechariah Pittman, Travis Stearns, Colby Evers, Jordan Koontz, Curtis Tuck, and Ronnie Goodman. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
