Shirley (Brown) Davis

Mrs. Shirley A. (Brown) Davis of Albany, Kentucky passed away Monday, July 31, 2023 at The Medical Center in Albany having attained the age of  67 years, 3 months & 4 days. She was born in Clinton County, Kentucky on Friday, April 27, 1956. She was the daughter of Kenneth Paul & Lorene J. (Malone) Brown. She was a Christian. She farmed for most of her life. She also worked at Grider Hill Dock, Dyer Drug, and Shearer Drug. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Wayne Davis whom she wed on July 21, 1973. She is survived by her mother, Lorene (Malone) Brown, her children, Thomas Wayne "Tee" Davis (& Nicole Cross) of Albany Kentucky, Lori Ann (& Eric) Branham of Burkesville, Kentucky, siblings, Kenneth Edward "Buddy" Brown of Albany, Kentucky, Danny Everett Brown of Lexington, Kentucky, Lisa Lorene Brown (& Tony Dewayne) Harrod of Bremen Georgia, Grandchildren, Shanda Nicole Davis, Gary Thomas Davis, Cassie Ann Branham, Erica Nicole Branham, and Gabrielle Mae Davis, great-grandchildren Lucas Ryan Dillon, Brayson James Coffey, mother-in-law, Gay (Conner) Davis of Albany Kentucky and special friend, Randell Gibson of Albany, Kentucky.

The funeral service was conducted on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. C.S.T. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Summers & Bro. David Stearns officiating. The family received friends in the chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 5:00 pm CST until the funeral hour. Casket bearers were Gary Davis, Logan Brumley, Brandon Mason, Neli Conner, Steven Conner, and Steve Dickerson. Burial was in The Keith Conner Cemetery in Clinton County. Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
