Mrs. Shirley Helen (Sidwell) Wright of Albany, Kentucky passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Pickett Care and Rehabilitation Center in Byrdstown, Tennessee, having attained the age of 85 years, 3 months, and 3 days. She was born on February 12, 1941, in Monticello, Kentucky, the daughter of John Thomas & Isabelle Rowe (Sidwell) Sidwell. She was of the Separate Baptist faith and attended Burkesville Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Forbis, and many brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Bryan (& Chi) Wright of Columbus, Georgia, Trisha (& Jeff) Bell of Monticello, Kentucky, Tammy (& David) Irwin of Albany, Kentucky; brother, Larry (& Janett) Sidwell of Ohio; grandchildren, Chad Heath, Kaela Wiggington, Kurtis Irwin, Johnathan Wright, Hannah Pitts; great-grandchildren, Taegan Heath, Keira Heath, Mia Irwin, Marley Irwin, Melanie Irwin, Micah Wiggington, and Henry Wiggington.

The graveside service was conducted on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the Cave Springs Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Johnathan Wright, Kurtis Irwin, Donnie Wiggington, Chad Heath, Jeff Bell, and David Irwin.
