Sharon Marie (Younger) Cox

Mrs. Sharon Marie (Younger) Cox of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 in Somerset, Kentucky, having attained the age of 59 years, 3 months, and 15 days. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on Monday, May 13, 1963, the daughter of James Roger Younger and Sandra (Combs) Morris. She was of the Baptist faith and had worked as an O.R. Secretary for a hospital in DeLand, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her aunts and uncles, Beverly Witschger of Albany, Kentucky, Jacky Younger, Patty Abbott, Melissa Abbott, George Abbott all of Goshen Ohio, Ricky Abbott of Wilmington, Ohio, Terry Abbott of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ron Abbott of Kansas, foster parents,
Sam and Dianna Schwartz of Florida, other relatives, and friends.

The funeral service was conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2022 in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky, with Bro. Greg Wells officiating. Casket bearers were JayAnne Murphy, Carly Manning, Kem McWhorter, Dennis P. McWhorter, Greg Wells, George Younger, and Jackie Younger.  Burial was in Lands Chapel Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Campbell-New Funeral Home was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
