Ms. Shannon Yolanda (Looper) Groce of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky, having attained the age of 43 years, 10 months, and 9 days. She was born on Thursday, April 13, 1978, in San Bernardino, California, the daughter of Earnest Earl and Carolyn Mae (Shelton) Looper. She formerly worked as a CNA at Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville, Kentucky and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her siblings, David (& Nicole) Looper, Keisha (& Tom) Hall, Julie (& Mark) Stearns, Josh Salter of Monticello, Kentucky, children, Brook (& Samuel) Rains, Dylan Groce, all of Albany, Kentucky, Cameron Groce, Carson Groce, both of Burkesville, Kentucky, Storm Groce, Lelam Groce, both of Albany, Kentucky, Chance Lynch and Cheney Lynch both of Lebanon, Kentucky, grandchild, Waylon Rains, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. C.S.T. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky,  with Bro. Mike Huffaker officiating. Casket bearers were David Looper, Tom Hall, Kenneth Duvall, Danny Duvall, and Billy Moore. Honorary casket bearer was Cody Bell. Burial was in Beech Bottom Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.  In lieu of flowers donations to help pay final expenses would be greatly appreciated. Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
