Seretha (Smith) Scroggins

Ms. Seretha L. (Smith) Scroggins of Albany, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at her residence in Clinton County, Kentucky, having attained the age of 62 years, 7 months and 13 days. She was born in Clinton County, Kentucky on July 22, 1963, the daughter of Ruben & Ostie (Kennedy) Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Scroggins, siblings, Rubin "Ricky" Smith, Dee Smith, Lonzo Smith, Lloyd "Hack" Smith, Camel Duvall, Ora Lee Starns, and Elgie Barnes.

She is survived by her special friend of 43 years, Raymond Brown, children, David (& Dawn) Scroggins, Amy (& Steve) Booher; siblings, Georgia Reynolds, and Tony Smith; grandchildren, Joshua Osborne (& Jennifer Welch), and Bradley Scroggins; and great-grandchild, Alyssa Welch, all of Albany, Kentucky.

The funeral service was conducted on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 1:00 pm CST in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Stacy Evans officiating.
