Ms. Saundra Gay (Gibson) Wright, age 56, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019, at The Medical Center of Albany having attained the age of 56 years, 2 months, and 1 day. She was born in Albany, Kentucky on Monday October 7, 1963, the daughter of the late James William Gibson and Julia Carolyn Brown. She was a member of the Albany Independent Baptist Church, a member of the K.E.A., and had obtained her rank one teaching degree. In addition to her mother, Julia (and Clarence) Brown, she is survived by her daughter, Brooke Wright (and Matthew Brown), a brother, Steve Gibson, and three step-brothers, Jeff Brown, Gail Brown, and Bobby Brown all of Albany, Kentucky. The funeral service for Ms. Saundra Gay (Gibson) Wright, was Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. (CST) in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Daniel officiating. Burial was in the Clear Fork Church Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Josh Johanson, Travis Stearns, Mike Claborn, Doug Brown. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
