Otis Edward Murray

     Mr. Otis Edward Murray, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, at his residence in Albany, Kentucky, having attained the age of 87 years, 6 months, and 6 days. He was born in Albany, Kentucky on Tuesday October, 15, 1935, the son of Charlie and Vennie Mae (Griffin) Murray. On Wednesday, January 4, 1967, he married his best friend, Evelyn Cain, with whom he raised a family. Mr. Murray was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Wayne Works Corporation in Richmond, Indiana. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Rick Murray, and a grandson, Ricky Murray Jr.

     Mr. Murray is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn (Cain) Murray, a daughter, Brenda Vincent of Albany, Kentucky, a son, Gary (& Cindy) Webb of Burkesville, Kentucky, daughter-in-law, Amy Murray of Philippines a sister, Janis Abbott of Jamestown, Kentucky, grandsons, Travis Vincent of Albany, Kentucky, and Jarod (& Shannon) Webb of North Liberty, Iowa, great-grandchildren, Tanner Webb and Ashley Webb of Iowa, special cousin Bill Griffin, wonderful friend, Shelia Groce both of Albany, Kentucky, beloved grand pup, Lucy Mae, an aunt, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

     The Funeral Service was conducted Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. CST with Bro. David Stearns officiating. Casket bearers were Jerod Webb, Don McClure, Brian Hachey, Justin Bell, Chris Mudd, Billy Griffin, and Steve Hardin. Honorary casket bearers were Lester Wallace, Judy Hachey, Danielle Hachey,Jade McClure, Allison Spencer, Loretta McClure, and Brooke Hachey. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
