Mildred (Hayson) OWENS Obituary

Mrs. Mildred Catherine (Hayson) Owens, of Albany Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024, at the Medical Center in Albany, Kentucky, having attained the age of 84 years, 7 months, and 20 days. She was born in Wells Township, Michigan on Friday, June 9, 1939, the daughter of Frank & Anna (Grasha) Hayson. She was of the Catholic faith, and worked for Cox Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Owens, daughter, Christine Arnholter, brothers, Frank Hayson, Nick Hayson, Louis Hayson, sisters, Patsy Hayson & Helen Blanchette.


She is survived by her cildren, Gary Owens of Texas, Jimmy Finkbone of Washington, Pamela (& Vincent) Ostertag of Albany, Kentucky, Cathy (& Derek) Payne of Golden, Missouri, siblings, Mary (& Jim) Bartylla of Prescott, Arizona, Lucille (& John) Lynch of Rapid River, Michigan, grandchildren, Justin Owens, Cody Owens, Gina (& Bret) Hildebrand, Bruce (& Carolyn) Stoops, Brent (& Christyn) Arnholter, Vanessa (& Ethan) Beard, Craig Ostertag, and Christian Tyler Denney.


Visitation for Mildred will be held on Friday February 2, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 3, 2024 at 10:00a.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
