Mr. Michael Delmar Sargent, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away, Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky, having attained the age of 77 years, 8 months, and 20 days. He was born in Muncie, Indiana, on Monday December 30, 1946, the son of Earl Delmar & Claribelle (Crutcher) Sargent. He was of the Christian faith and worked most of his life as a salesman. He was preceded in death by his parents, & grandson, Tristian Carpenter.

        He is survived by his children, Michelle Sargent, Kimberly (& Chris) Smith all of Albany, Kentucky, brothers, Steve Sargent, Bill Sargent both of Florida, grandchildren, Taylor  Brown (Chris), Kayhlie Carpenter (Lee), Christian (& Cassie) Carpenter, Kaibree Smith, C.J. (& Kendra) Smith, Mikenze Smith (Garret), nine great-grandchildren, four grand-cats,other relatives,and friends.

The family chose cremation. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
