Mr. Michael David Hatcher of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 at The Medical Center of Albany in Albany, Kentucky having attained the age of 48 years, 9 months and 21 days. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on Wednesday, August 18, 1971 the son of the George and the Janis (Moore) Hatcher. He was of the Christian faith, and a bus driver for Keystone Grissom. He is preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his father George Hatcher of Somerset, Kentucky, children, Korey Smith of Somerset, Kentucky, Jerrica Hatcher of Monticello, Kentucky, step-son, Cody Brown of Albany, Kentucky, siblings, Shannon Hatcher of Maryville, Tennessee, Keith (and Missy) Hatcher of Monticello Kentucky, Eric Hatcher of Knoxville, Tennessee, Heather Hatcher of Greensboro, Georgia, Castle Hatcher of Somerset, Kentucky, Peyton Hatcher, of Somerset, Kentucky, grandchild, Levi Sweet, nieces and nephews, Aaron Dodd, Jacob Dodd, Brittany Tucker, Meagan Tucker, Baye Hatcher, Georgia Lynn Ard. The funeral service was held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky, with Bro. John Dodd officiating. Special prayer was prayed by Grant Gupton. Burial was in the Penticuff Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket bearers were Keith Hatcher, Eric Hatcher, Cody Brown, Peyton Hatcher, Castle Hatcher, Aaron Dodd, Jacob Dodd. Campbell-New Funeral Home was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
