Mrs. Marie (DeRing) Fussell of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the Pickett County Care And Rehab Center in Byrdstown, Tennessee, having attained the age of 95 years, 4 months and 8 days. She was born in Newark, New Jersey on Thursday, July 21, 1927, the daughter of Ralph and Mildred (Batista) DeRing. She was a Christian lady and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Austen Fussell, whom she wed on Thursday, October 5, 1950, son, Richard Fussell, siblings, Jeanie Morgan, and Lester DeRing.

She is survived by her son, Craig (& Sharon) Fussell of Albany, Kentucky, sister, Mildred Stingle of Livingston, New Jersey, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date. Campbell-New Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
