Linda Faye (Smith) Lee Obituary

Mrs. Linda Faye (Smith) Lee of Albany, Kentucky, passed away at the Medical Center in Albany, Kentucky on, Friday, November 15, 2024, having attained the age of 77 years, 6 months, and 30 days. She was born in Albany, Kentucky on Wednesday, April 16, 1947, the daughter of Martin & Florene (Rigney) Smith. She was of the Christian faith, loved sewing, cooking for her family, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee, whom she wed on, Saturday, September 5, 1964, daughter, Angela Bell, brothers, Harvy Smith, and Everett Smith, and sisters, Evadean Savage, Genevivie Guinn, Ruth Denney, Sue Lee, and Hazel Guffey.


She is survived by her son, Jeffery Lee, daughter, Debra (& Marty) Marcum, both of Albany, Kentucky, brothers, Lonnie Smith, and Jimmy (& Charlotte) Smith, grandchildren, Dustin (& Whitney) Marcum, Makayla (& Brad) Parrigin, Camden Marcum, great-grandchildren, Haven Marcum, Allie Marcum, Makenlee Parrigin, Tucker Parrigin, soon-to-be-born baby Marcum, and many other family and friends.


The funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home, with Bro. Jamie McCutchen, and Bro. Doug Roeper officiating. Burial was in the Maupin Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Dustin Marcum, Marty Marcum, Camden Marcum, Kenney Denney, Freddy Smith, and Brad Parrigin.
