Mrs. Linda Jean (Taylor) Withers of Albany, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at The Medical Center at Albany, having attained the age of 68 years, 10 months, and 13 days. She was born in Albany, Kentucky on Sunday, July 16, 1950, the daughter of Sam O. and Lurie (Flynn) Taylor. She was of Baptist faith and a member of Stony Point Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl Upchurch, Dean Taylor, and Bill Taylor, and one sister, Sandra Brown. She is survived by one son, Phillip Dalton, two daughters, Myra Sue (Rick) Fuquay, both of Albany, Kentucky, Lejeana (Michael) Christopher of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, one sister, Lois Ann (Jim) Cantrell of Science Hill, Kentucky, one brother, Jamie Taylor of Albany, Kentucky, five grandchildren, Daniel Wayne Osborne, Ashley Sue Osborne, Jessica Danielle Fuquay, Tandyn Owen Dalton, and Jadyn Micah Christopher, several nieces and nephews, with many other relatives and friends. The funeral service was conducted Saturday, June 1, 2019, in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Brown officiating. Burial was in the Cartwright Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Billy Dean Taylor, Britt Taylor, Daniel Osborne, Conner Lillard, Joey England, Dennis Kempton, and Bryson Cross. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
