Larry Gene White

Mr. Larry Gene White, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at his residence in Albany, Kentucky, having attained the age of 81 years, 9 months, and 12 days. He was born on Saturday, May 4, 1940 in Aurora, Indiana, the son of George and Hazel Irene (Holdcroft) White. He was of the Methodist faith, attended Cumberland City United Methodist Church, an U.S. Army Veteran, and operated a forklift for Monsanto. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Georganna Beard.

          He is survived by his spouse Margie (Jones) White, whom he wed on Saturday, June 1, 2013, children, Melissa (& Milton) Teer of  Milan, Indiana, Aimee Beard of Moores Hill, Indiana, step-sons, Wayne (& Robin) Shelton, and Eli (& Christy) Shelton of Albany, Kentucky, brother, Harold Wayne (& Janice) White of  Gilford, Indiana, 7 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.

          The funeral service was conducted on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky with Bro. Shane Smith and Bro. Rayborn Starns officiating. Casket bearers were Rex Smith, Ryan Teer, Mat Hornberger, Trevor Everingham, Marcus Shelton, Robert Harden. Burial was in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
