L C (Dishman) Pittman

    Mrs. L. C. (Dishman) Pittman of Albany, Kentucky passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023 at her residence in Albany having attained the age of 89 years, 10 months & 22 days. She was born in Rickman, Tennessee on Tuesday, September 12, 1933 the daughter of Joe Loyd & Mary Sue (Stewart) Dishman. She was a Methodist , a member of Lee's Chapel, she was a loving home maker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John George Pittman whom she wed the year of 1960, son, Jerry Pittman, siblings, J.P. Dishman, Ray Dishman, Junior Dishman.

     She is survived by her son, Ronnie Pittman, Steven Pittman, daughter-in-law, Parlee Pittman White all of Albany, brother, Raymond Dishman of Algood, Tennessee, grandchildren, Jesse Pittman, David Pittman, great-grandchildren, Emily Pittman, Kaycee Pittman.

     The funeral service was conducted on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. C.S.T. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Donald McGill  officiating. Burial was in the Peolia Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket bearers were Wendell Shelton, Mitchell Lee Shelton, Micky Shelton, Steve Pittman, and David Pittman. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to help defray final expenses. Donations may be left at Campbell-New Funeral Home. Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
