Mrs. Joyce Faye (Poore) Asberry of Albany, Kentucky passed away Monday, March 18, 2019, at her residence in Albany, having attained the age of 83 years, 6 months, and 4 days. She was born in Clinton County, Kentucky on Saturday, September 14, 1935, the daughter of Daniel K. Poore and Bethel (Russell) Lawless. She was of Methodist faith and a Laboratory and Radiology Technician. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Poore and a great-grandson, Charles Braydon Dicken. She is survived by her children, Michael (Shirley) Asberry of Albany, Kentucky, Jammie (Jeff) Smith of Alvaton, Kentucky, and Ginger Asberry of Albany, Kentucky, grandchildren, Angela Frazho, Maleigha Asberry, Kasara Asberry, Leslie (Scott) Cox, Justin Smith, and Simone Asberry, ten great-grandchildren, Brianna Frazho, Bradlee Dicken, Braxton Frazho, Bryson Frazho, Baylee Arellano, Michaela Asberry, Adri Asberry, Alycia Asberry, Gryffin Cox, and Delaney Duvall, plus a host of other relatives and friends. The Funeral Service was conducted Friday, March 22, 2019, in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Wells officiating. Burial was in the Maupin Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Jeff Smith, Justin Smith, Bobby Reneau, Tyler Duvall, Scott Cox, and Marty Asberry. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
