Mr. Joe Warren "Jody" Stockton of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024, at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky, having attained the age of 76 years, 2 months, and 20 days. He was born in Albany, Kentucky on Thursday, June 17, 1948, the son of Joe Buck & Leva Alma (Norris) Stockton. He was of the Christian faith, worked as a truck driver for many years and enjoyed truck pulls. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Howard Stockton, Freddie Stockton, Kaye Stockton, Rick Stockton, and infant brother, Troy Stockton, and sisters, Jeanette (Stockton) Marlow, Linda (Stockton) Butler, and Rebecca "Beck" (Stockton) Beaty.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Jean (Stockton) Stockton, whom he wed on Friday, August 25, 1967, daughter, Tammy (& Ron) Byrd of Albany, Kentucky, son, Scottie Stockton of Albany, Kentucky, sister, Phyllis (Stockton) Pryor of Byrdstown, Tennessee, grandson, the joy of his life, Dawson Huddleston of Byrdstown, Tennessee, aunt, Geneva "Neat" Bertram of Albany, Kentucky, brother-in-law, Frankie Stockton of Albany, Kentucky, 6 step-grandchildren, 9 step-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. C.S.T. in The Memory Chapel of the Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Brown & Bro. Donnie Shelley officiating. Burial was in Memorial Hill Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were, Wendell Stockton, Derrick Stockton, Kenny Stockton, David Stockton, Josh Beaty, Colton Bowlin and Chris Pryor.
