Mr. Jimmy Foxx Upchurch, Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and formerly of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, at the Holy Cross Hospice Care in Fort Lauderdale, having attained the age of 58 years, 5 months, and 1 day. He was born in Jamestown, Tennessee on Sunday, January 8, 1961, the son of the Jimmy Foxx and June (Miller) Upchurch. He was of Southern Baptist Faith, a member of Stony Point Baptist Church, and a Restaurateur. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Foxx and June (Miller) Upchurch. He is survived by a brother, Joseph Miller Upchurch of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with many other relatives and friends. The funeral service was conducted Thursday, June 13, 2019, in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Jim England officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Hill Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Daniel Latham, Jarred Latham, Joshua Latham, Harvey Tucker, Billy Miller, and Broderick Bussbarger. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
