Mr. Jimmie Lynn Thrasher, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 at his residence in Albany, Kentucky having attained the age of 76 years, 9 months, and 8 days. He was born on Saturday, April 20, 1946 in Clinton County, Kentucky the son of Reed and Reba Anna (Huddleston) Norris. He was a Christian man of the Methodist faith, member of the Five Springs Methodist, member of C.B. Clubs, and he attended several of the adult day centers in the Albany area. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jackie Reed Thrasher.
He is survived by his significant other , Claudette Lowhorn of Albany, Kentucky, niece, Reshea (& Steve) Beaty of Lebanon, Tennessee, great-niece, Cecily Beaty, great-nephew, Keaton Beaty, special friends, Tommy (& Laure) Patton, Sherri (& Phil) Burger, along with a host of family members and many many friends.
The Funeral Service was conducted on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky, with Bro. Mike Huffaker, and Bro. Michael Cooper officiating. Casket bearers were Steve Beaty, Tommy Patton, Gary Speck, Charles McIver, Johnny Cash, Jeff Parnell, and David Cole. Burial was in the Five Springs Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
