Mrs. Jewell F. (Abner) Smith, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at The CHI Saint Joseph Health Hospital in London, Kentucky having attained the age of 65 years, 11 months, and 13 days. She was the daughter of the late William and Frankie (Short) Abner.

  In addition to her  parents, she was preceded in death by her  husband, Lonzo Smith whom she wed on, son, Roger Dale Smith, brothers, Ernest Abner and Tommy Abner. 

  She is survived by her daughters, Crystal (Brian) Buck of London, Kentucky, and Lisa Davis of Albany, Kentucky, her sister, Joyce (Bruce) Bolin of Monticello, Kentucky, brother, Ronnie Abner (Peggy Cross), 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Donna Smith, and several nieces and nephews.  

  The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Gibbons  officiating. The family will receive friends after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2020 until the funeral hour on Saturday. Burial will follow in the Davis Chapel Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Davis Chapel Cemetery Fund. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky is honored to be in charge of arrangements.
