Mr. Jerry Watson Lowe, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 at The Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg in Orangeburg, South Carolina, having attained the age of 81 years, and 4 days. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on Thursday, May 25, 1939, the son of the late Clarence Watson and Geneva LaVaughn (Copenhaver) Lowe. He was of the Baptist faith, a member of the Albany First Baptist Church, a first responder driving an EMS unit, a retired police officer after twenty years, with Carmel Indiana Police Department, serving as Chief of Police from 1980-1986, also serving as Deputy Coroner for 15 years, 911 communications director for Carmel Indiana from 1991 till 1994, employee of Jamestowner Houseboats, and Court Bailiff for the Clinton County Sheriff Office. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a wife, Patricia Ellen Lowe, daughters, Cindy Sue Nichols, Mary Ann Lowe. He is survived by his wife, Dottie Mary (Kirby) Lowe, whom he wed on Saturday, January 23, 2016, children, Donna Lowe of Irving, Texas, Becky (Lowe) (and David) Cluskey of Lewisville, North Carolina, Michael (and Amy) Lowe of Burlington, Kentucky, Siblings, Gary Lowe, Annabelle (and David) Stumm, grandchildren, April Boles, Heather Adamowicz, Jason Adamowicz, Jeremy Adamowicz, Meghan Cluskey, Aidan Cluskey, Henry Lowe, Evie Lowe, eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.The funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Brown officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Hills Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky. Special music was rendered by Meghan Cluskey. Casket bearers were David Guffey, David Cluskey, Aidan Cluskey, David Warriner, Bro. Jim England, Bob Talbott, Don Girven. Campbell-New Funeral Home was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
