Mr. Jason Paul Gilbert of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, in Clinton County, Kentucky, having attained the age of 46 years, 8 months, and 11 days. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on Thursday, November 30, 1978, the son of Jimmy & Nancy (Davis) Gilbert. He had a lifelong passion for martial arts, embracing all its forms with dedication and respect. Above his enjoyment for martial arts, Music, especially heavy metal music, was truly his heart and soul. In addition to his Father, He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eddie Mack & Minnie Lee (Smith) Gilbert, maternal grandparents Lyman & Vida (Neathery) Davis, other aunts & uncles, and special friend, Jennifer Dean.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy (Davis) Gilbert, daughter, Katie (& Cody) Burchett, sister, Sandy (& Richard) Braswell, aunts, Martha (& Everett) Polston, Judy (& Dewey) Williams, other cousins and many friends.

The funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. C.S.T. in The Memory Chapel of the Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. James Gilbert, and Bro. Joe Summers officiating. Burial was in the Fairland Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Freddy Smtih, John Burchett, Mike Burchett, Cody Burchett, Richard Baswell, Drake Booher, Nick Sparks and Kelly Polston.
