Janice Faye (McIver) Waid

Mrs. Janice Faye (McIver) Waid of Albany, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky having attained the age of 64 years, 7 months & 5 days. She was born in Albany, (Clinton County) Kentucky on Sunday, January 13, 1957 the Daughter of Robert & Reba Lillian (Burris) McIver. She was a Christian lady, a member of the Gospel Baptist Church, and a line worker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Waid, and a grandson, Jordan Alan Melton.

     She is survived by her children, James (& Brandi) Waid, Janice Ann (& Michael) Groce, Lesley (& Jefferson) Mercer, Robert Neil Waid, and Tyler Waid all of Albany, Kentucky, siblings, Edith Davis of Brazil, Indiana, Kay Huddleston of Muncie, Indiana, Bonnie Brown, Hazel Braswell, Betty Appleby, Linda Abner, Bobby McIver, Phyllis Thompson, Russell McIver & Margaret Anderson all of Albany, Kentucky, grandchildren, Chris Daniel, Austin Waid, Dawson Waid, Macey Groce, Gracie Daniel, Emilee Coomer, Gavin Coomer, Charles Groce, Ella Waid, great-grandchildren, Izabella (Izzy) Waid, Owen Waid, and many other relatives and friends.

     The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. C.S.T in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany with Bro. Donald McGill officiating. Eulogy by Janice Groce. Casket bearers were Chris Daniel, Austin Waid, Dawson Waid, Gracie Daniel, Booty McIver, Charles 'Bud' McIver. Burial was in the Five Springs Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
