Mrs. Janet Fay (Cheek) Clark, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away, Sunday, August 4, 2024 at the Cookeville Regional Hospital in Cookeville, Tennessee, having attained the age of  70 years, 4 months, and 15 days. She was born in New Castle, Indian on Saturday, March, 20, 1954, the daughter of Virgil & Mary (Wolford) Cheek. She was of the Baptist faith and an employee for Patriot Industries. She was a member of the Henry County Democrat Women's Club, Eastern Star of Indiana, former Easter Star of Kentucky, Twin Lakes Family Wellness Center Borderline Dancers, the Homemaker's Club and the Loin's Club International. Janet's hobbies were making bracelets, visiting water parks, amusement parks, boating, jet skiing, going on picnics with her husband, collecting Crocs with every Jibbitz sold, and she adored shopping. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Steve A. Clark, whom she wed Saturday, November 10,1973, of Albany, Kentucky, daughter, Abigail (& Mic) Okeley of New Castle, Indiana, son, Andrew (& Brittany) Clark of Greenfield, Indiana, sister, Debbie (& Rick) Harmon of New Castle, Indiana, and grandson, Archer Clark.

The funeral service was conducted on Friday, August  9, 2024 in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. David Stearns officiating. A secondary funeral service was conducted on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Sproles Family Funeral Home in New Castle, Indiana. The burial was in South Mound West Lawn Cemetery in New Castle, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, contributions were requested to be made to the Indiana Order of Eastern Star Service Dog Project, American Heart Association, or the Loin's Club International Foundation.
