Mr. James Edward Garner of Albany, Kentucky passed away at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, on Thursday, February 27, 2025, having attained the age of 64 years, 2 months, and 11 days. He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky, on Friday, December 16, 1960, the son of James & Elizabeth (Frazier) Garner. He was of the Christian faith and worked in public service for many years at Page’s Grocery and This & That. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Garner.
He is survived by his siblings, Carey (& Diane) Garner of Byrdstown, Tennessee, Terrell (& Vickie) Garner of Pall Mall Tennessee, Jessee (& Brenda) Garner of Albany, Kentucky, and Charlene Poore of Pall Mall, Tennessee, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, March 3, 2025, beginning at 7:00 P.M. C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to the American Heart Association or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
