Mr. J.P. Ferrill, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the CHI Saint Joseph Health in Lexington, Kentucky, having attained the age of 72 years, 2 months, and 12 days. He was born in Albany, Kentucky on Sunday, September 28, 1952, the son of Hazel Ferrill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Ferrill, and son, Jady Lynn Ferrill.

He is survived by his daughter, Lora (& Mike) West of Somerset, Kentucky, son, Gary Ferril of Albany, Kentucky, sisters, Barbara Ferrill, & Janett Ferrill, brother, Wayne Ferrill, grandchildren, Rowan Ferrill, Stellan Ferrill, Brittany Martinez, Matthew Beaty, Gabe Beaty, and other family and friends.

The funeral service was conducted on Friday, December 13, 2024, beginning at 12:00 Noon C.S.T. in the Peolia Cemetery. Burial was in the Peolia Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket bearers were Stellan Ferrill, Greg Ferrill, Legion Ferrill, Micheal Ferrill, Ethan Denney, and Josh Pierce. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to the JP Ferrill Memorial Fund, to help defray funeral expenses, c/o Campbell-New Funeral Home.
