Helga Cummings

Mrs. Helga (Rabensteiner) Cummings of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, having attained the age of 83 years, 11 months and 24 days. She was born in Makarewicz, Germany, on Sunday, November 2, 1941, the daughter of Herrman & Franzikia (Lender) Rabensteiner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Odell Cummings, whom she wed on February 2, 1962, son, James Cummings, and granddaughter, Heather Cummings.

She is survived by her son, Alexander (& Sheri) Cummings of Winchester, Kentcky, grandchildren, Alex (& Dana) Cummings, Chris Brown, all of Winchester, Kentucky, Cassis Shelton of Richmond, Kentucky, great-grandchildren, Hudson Cummings, Erica Brown, Kailey Brown, many other relatives, and friends.

The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 12:00 noon C.S.T., in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Sawyer officiating. Burial was in the Beech Bottom Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were James E. Guffey, Chris Brown, McKenzie Guffey, Alex Cummings Jr., Mike Rogers, and Matthew Devine.
