Mr. Harley Leonard Foster, of Pickett County, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 81 years and 17 days. He was born in Clinton County, Kentucky, on Thursday, October 26, 1944, the son of James & Ester (Stinson) Foster. He was of the Baptist faith, a member of Faith United Baptist Church in Haggerstown, Indiana, and a member of Beech Bottom Masonic Lodge #788. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Maxine Foster, daughter, Michelle Penneycuff, sisters, Lorene Stinson, Junita Lyons, Olida Lyons, and Wanda Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy May (Abner) Foster, children, Deborah Conley of Muncie, Indiana, Casey Abbott of Albany, Kentucky, and Mickey Foster of Waynesburg, Kentucky, brothers, Stanley Foster of Albany, Kentucky, and Murl Foster of New Castle, Indiana, grandchildren, Rocky, Jessie, Madison, Christina, Christopher, Cody, Jennifer, Nicholas, Chasity, Chelsea, Courtney, Michael, and Megan, as well as several nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
The funeral service was conducted on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of the Campbell-New Funeral Home, with Bro. Mark Abner officiating. Masonic rights were performed by the Beech Bottom Masonic Lodge #788 F.&A.M.. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Rocky Burton, Jessie Burton, Micky Foster, Troy Foster, Brain Abbott, and Nick Abbott.
