Mr. H. Carter Maupin of Albany, Kentucky, passed away at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee, on Sunday, February 23, 2025, having attained the age of 72 years, 7 months, and 17 days. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky, on Sunday, July 6, 1952, the son of Howard C. and Jimmie (Burchett) Maupin. He was a Christian of the Methodist faith and a cherished member of Maupin Church. He retired from the USDA, was a mason, a Kentucky Colonel, and a farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Susan UpChurch Maupin, whom he wed on Saturday, January 10, 1976, son, H.C. (& Jordan) Maupin of Albany, Kentucky, grandchildren, Myla and Adalynn Maupin, other relatives, and friends.

The Funeral Service was conducted on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. CST at Maupin Church with Bro. Greg Wells officiating. Casket bearers were Dave Mackewich, Kenney Denney, Lance Stinson, Mark Maupin, Jordan Hunter, Vincent Briggs, Aaron Asberry, and Greg Beard. Burial was in Maupin Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
