Mrs. Goldia Imogene (Ferguson) Glidewell, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 20, 2020 at The Medical Center of Albany at Albany, Kentucky having attained the age of 87 years, 9 months, and 6 days. She was the daughter of the late Joe and Mary (Bell) Ferguson. She was of the Methodist faith, and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Emery Glidewell, two sons, Jerry Glidewell and Jimmy Glidewell, a daughter, Betty Jean Glidewell, one brother, Thurston Ferguson and one sister, Ruby Owens. She is survived by a daughter, Judy (and T. J.) She was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on Thursday, July 14, 1932, the daughter of the late Joe and Mary (Bell) Ferguson. She was of the Methodist faith, and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Emery Glidewell whom she wed on Thursday, September 18, 2003, sons, Jerry Glidewell, Jimmy Glidewell, daughter Betty Jean Glidewell, brother, Thurston Ferguson, sister, Ruby Owens. She is survived by her daughter, Judy (and T.J.) Holley of Athens, Tennessee, 7 grandchildren, and a special granddaughter, Samantha Glidewell. As ordered by the Governor of Kentucky, and in accordance with the CDC guidelines, all services are private, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Bro. Bob Thrasher offiacated. Casket bearers were Floyd Rains, Chris Daniel, Roger Daley, Rick Phillips, Gene Neal, Earl Morrison. Burial was in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
