Mrs. Golda Sue Anderson Flowers of Albany, Kentucky passed away Monday, September 9, 2019, at her residence in Albany, Kentucky, having attained the age of 68 years, 11 months, and 26 days. She was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Thursday, September 14, 1950, the daughter of Roy T. and Golda R. (Wright) Anderson. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Leigh Ann Louise Land. She is survived by her husband, David Jr. Flowers of Albany, Kentucky, whom she married March 21, 2002, daughters, Peggy Cummings (Edmund Brumley) of Albany, Kentucky, Sharon Land (Jackie Dicken) of Burkesville, Kentucky, son, Jerry Jr. (Wanda) Land of Albany, Kentucky, three sisters, Faye Anderson, Lou Waid, and Deana Anderson, all of Albany, Kentucky, five brothers, Charlie (Margaret) Anderson, Joe (Mary) Anderson, Randall Anderson, Todd (Betty) Anderson, Tommy Anderson (Lisa Cooper), all of Albany, Kentucky, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, September 14, 2019, in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Prentis Evans officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Hill Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Jeffrey Land, Dustin Neal, Daniel Cummings, Jonathon Scott, Jay Craig, Charles McIver, Brady Rogers, and Todd Anderson. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
