Glen Orton

     In loving memory of Elva Glenn Orton who passed away on May 15, 2022 at his home in Norwood, Ohio having attained the age of 98 years, 8 months, 23 days. He was born on August 22, 1923 to David and Edyth (Allen) Orton. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie, Hall, and William, and his sisters Hallie and Ruth and sisters-in-law Evelyn Orton and Elvira Orton.

          Glenn is survived by his beloved wife, Joann Orton, brother, Edwin D. (Bobby) Orton (Margaret of Lexington, Kentucky,  and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

          Glenn graduated from Burkesville High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was discharged in 1946. Afterwards making his home in Norwood, Ohio and worked there many years at Coca-cola before retiring is 1989. He was a kind, caring, and loving person and special to all of us. Glenn always enjoyed his many trips home to visit family and friends.

          Graveside service was held Friday, May 20, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in Cornetts Chapel Cemetery, Anville, Kentucky.
