Gail Lynn (Guffey) Daniels

Mrs. Gail Lynn (Guffey) Daniels of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday,. October 21, 2021 at The Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee, having attained the age of 69 years, 2 months, and 11 days. She was born in Albany, Kentucky on Sunday, August 10, 1952 the daughter of Tolbert and Oma (Baker) Guffey. She was of the Baptist faith, and a member of Steubenville Baptist Church, a factory employee for OshKosh, and Cagles. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Ronnie T. Guffey, and nephew, Brian Guffey.

     She is survived by her husband, J.B. Daniels whom she wed on  Saturday, December 22, 2007, children, Steve (& Andrea) Collins of Monticello, Kentucky, Frankie (& Teina) Collins of Albany, Kentucky, grandchildren, Savannah Collins, Devin Collins, Eli Collins, Kelsay Collins, Aubrey Collins, great-grandchild, Genesis Finley Brown along with a host of other family members.

     The funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany with Bro. Seth Denney, and Tim Pickens officiating. Casket bearers were J.B. Daniels, Steve Collins, Frankie Collins, Devin Collins, Eli Collins, Bobby Brown. Honorary casket bearers were Rex Guffey, Quincey Guffey. Burial was in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
