Mrs. Flonnie Loreen (Polston) Tapley of Albany, Kentucky passed away Monday, November 4, 2019, at The Medical Center in Albany, Kentucky, having attained the age of 74 years, 3 months, and 25 days. She was born in Clinton County, Kentucky on Tuesday, July 10, 1945, the daughter of Rube Adam and Flonnie Floreen (Cowan) Polston. She was of Methodist faith and an employee for Sutton Shirt Corporation. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Tapley, daughter, Judy Nelson, son, Terry "Turk" Polston, brother, James "Matador" Polston, and sisters, Uthel Graham, Ruth Cole, Lois Jones, and Anita Polston Dowell. She is survived by her daughter, Lana Jolene (and Brad) Fulton of Burkesville, Kentucky, son, David (and Martha) Tapley of Monticello, Kentucky, sister, Bell Jones of Albany, Kentucky, grandchildren, Katie Marin, Kayla Kleifgen, Shasta Bowlin, Mackenzie Polston, Michael Fulton, Tess Nelson, Braden Fulton, Bailey Polston, Sophee Garner, Mylei Garner, several nieces and nephews, and special friend, Jewell Smith. The funeral service was conducted Thursday, November 7, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Brother Greg Wells officiating. Burial was in the Craig Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket bearers were Jeff Sams, Chance Roberts, Ben Roberts, Gavin Melton, Brad Fulton, Braden Fulton, and Kyla Stearns. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
