Elvin Wayne "Buddy" Antle Obituary

Mr. Elvin Wayne "Buddy" Antle of Albany, Kentucky passed away Monday, August 26, 2024 at his residence in Albany, Kentucky having attained the age of 78 years, 11 months & 29 days. He was born in Russell County, Kentucky on Tuesday, August 28, 1945, the son of John & Lola (Johnson) Antle. He was a Christian, retired from Gamble Brothers, loved fishing, and the outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cora Jean Patterson, brothers, Danny Ray Antle, and Calvin C. Antle.


     He is survived by his children, David (& Angela) Antle of Pleasant Hill, Tennessee, Sherry (& Andy) Cope of Albany, Kentucky, Stacy (& Rachel) Antle of Bowling Green, Kentucky, a brother, Henry D. Antle of Jamestown, Kentucky, grandchildren, Ashley (& Adam) Stewart, Megan (& John) Burchett, Austin Cope, Jacob Cope, Levi Antle, Asa Antle, great-grandchildren, Oakley Stewart, Stella Stewart, other relatives, and friends.


          The funeral service was conducted on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of the Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky with Bro. Andy Cope officiating. Burial was in the Lands Chapel Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky. Casket bearers were Aaron Patterson, Adam Stewart, John Burchett, Austin Cope, Jacob Cope, and Carl Ferguson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Campbell-New Funeral Home to help defray final expenses.
