Mr. Elmer Boykin of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020 at the Clinton County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Clinton County, Kentucky, having attained the age of 89 years, 3 months and 2 days. He was born in Albany, Kentucky on Wednesday, April 1, 1931, the son of Obedian and Mandy Boykin. He was of the Baptist faith, and a self- employed farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Annalene (Hall) Boykin, several children, brothers and sisters. He is survived by his siblings, Leo Boykin of Burkesville, Kentucky, Johnny Boykin of Burkesville, Kentucky, Ella May Latham of Indiana, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, special friends Ruby Rains, Virginia Bell. The funeral was conducted on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Campbell-New Funeral home with Bro. Michael Cooper officiating. Casket bearers were Virginia Daniels, Kenny Myers, Felicia Hall, Kelly Gibson, Kevin Guffey, Gary Smith. Burial was in the Peolia Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
