Elaine (Smith) Sells Ford

    Mrs. Elaine Sells Ford, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023, at the Medical Center in Albany, Kentucky, having attained the age of 67 years, 11 months, and 2 days. She was born in Albany, Kentucky on Friday, April 29, 1955, the daughter of Hugh Smith and Dorothy (Bertram) Patton. Mrs. Ford was a Christian and a member of Caney Branch Church. She had previously owned and operated The Gingerbread House daycare. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Piercey and a step–son Ron Ford.

     She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Ford, of Albany, Kentucky, children, Treba (&Terry) McFall, Marla (& Lyndon) Parmley of Monticello, Kentucky, Dennis (& Megan) Sells of Burkesville, Kentucky, Kim (& Jason) Brown of Albany, Kentucky, step-daughter, Shasta (& Hoot) Long of Wartburg, Tennessee, grandchildren, Brett (& Tosha) McFall, Olivia Sells, Dylan Parmley, Derrick Sells, Burk Sells, Millie Riddle, Myles Riddle, Maverick Riddle, step-grandchildren, Seth (& Keele) Long, Jordan Long, Madison Ford, and Abby Ford, great-grandchildren, Briley McFall, Braxton McFall, & Caylie Tucker, with many other relatives and friends..

     The Funeral Service was conducted on Monday, April 3, at 1:00 p.m. CST in the chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky, with Bro. Dennis Sells and Bro. Donald McGill officiating. Special music was provided by the Braswell Sisters. Casket bearers were Terry McFall, Lyndon Parmley, Brett McFall, Dylan Parmley, Derrick Sells, Burk Sells, Myles Riddle, Maverrick Riddle, Briley McFall, and Braxton McFall. Burial was in the Caney Branch Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky. Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
