Eddie Rolan Flowers

Mr. Eddie Rolan Flowers, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, at his residence, having attained the age of 79 years, 8 months & 5 days. He was born in The Maupin Community of Clinton County, Kentucky on Monday, August 23, 1943 the son of Kenneth Elbert & Gladys Pauline (Ferrill) Flowers. He was a Christian Man, member of Lee's Chapel Church, Graduate of Clinton County High School Class of 1962, An Army Veteran, having served as a Military Police, and a self employed Contractor owning Flowers Aluminum for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Flowers, & sister, Brenda Dalton.

     He is survived by his wife, Linda Shirle (Lowhorn) Flowers, whom he wed on Friday, January 27, 1967, son, Brent Rolan Flowers, grandson, Asa Rolan Shelton Flowers, sister, Wanda Sue (& Gary) McWhorter, sister-in-law, Janie Flowers all of Albany, Kentucky, Nieces & Nephews, Lynn Flowers, Stacey Hickman, Marla Harmon, Karen Caldwell, Amanda Hardin, Mikel Dalton & Beth Brown, several great-nieces and nephews, and many friends.

     The funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. C.S.T. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky with Bro. Melvin Daniel & Bro. Mike Huffaker officiating. Military honnors were provided by the DAV Chapter 105 of Monticello, Kentucky. Casket bearers were Asa Flowers, Adam Upchurch, Jackie Flowers, Mikel Dalton, B.J. Brown, Chad Hickman, Kelly Harmon, Stephen Caldwell. Burial was in the Peolia Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky. Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
