Mrs. Doris Deane (Taylor) Cash of Albany, Kentucky, passed away at The Medical Center in Albany, Kentucky on Thursday, May 23, 2024 having attained the age of 81 years, 5 months, and 19 days. She was born in Albany, Kentucky, on Friday, December 4, 1942, the daughter of Willie Glee "Buster" and Ethie Deane (Thompson) Taylor. She was of the Baptist faith, a farmer, and loving homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Verner Cletis "Pete" Cash, whom she wed on Saturday, June 1, 1963.


        She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (& Allen) Angel of Albany, Kentucky , grandchildren, Ashley Beaty, Amanda (&Ross) Dalton, great-grandchildren, Hunter Dalton, Claire Dalton, & Londyn Dalton, step-children, Samantha Angel of Nashville, Tennessee, Matthew (& September) Angel of Monticello, Kentucky, step-grandchildren, Kameron Angel, Heavenly Angel, Logan Angel.


        The funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home, with Bro. Frankie Butler officiating. Casket bearers were Matthew angel, Kameron Angel, Logan Angel, Chris Hollis, Ryan Hollis, and Allen Angel. Burial was in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky. Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
