Mr. Donald Kennith Gibson, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023 at his residence in Albany,  Kentucky, having attained the age of 77 years, 11 months, and 2 days. He was born in Clinton County, Kentucky on Sunday, March 25, 1945 the son of Marion Corbett and Mary E. (Guffey) Gibson. He was of the Baptist faith, a member of Bright Idea Church, a taxi driver, and a retired minister. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lila Faye Gibson, siblings, Willie Gibson, Betty Faye Gibson, and Buddy Gibson.

     He is survived by his daughter, Tabitha (& William) Gibson Sidwell, son, Kennith (& Jessica) Gibson, sister, Roxie M. Hunter all of Albany, Kentucky, grandchildren, Heather C. Gibson, Kennith L. Gibson, James K. Hammond, Micheal B. Gibson, great-grandchildren, Tamara Dicken, Jolynn Dicken, special nephew, Lonnie Boils, along with several other nieces & nephews.

     The Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky, with Bro. Joe Bryant officiating. The Family will receive friends after 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home until the funeral hour.  Burial will be in the Cave Springs Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
