Mrs. Diania Louise (Cross) Garrett of Albany, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at her residence in Albany. She was born in Albany, Kentucky on Wednesday, May 20, 1953, the daughter of William Stanley Cross and Ida Mae (Cole) Cross. She was of Baptist faith and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Mae Cross, her husband, Aaron Wayne Garrett, whom she married Thursday, October 14, 1971, a brother, Stanley DeWayne Cross, and a great-grandson, Storm Dawson Garrett. She is survived by her father, William Stanley Cross, daughter, Jennifer (Johnny) Bowlin, two sons, Adam (Lisa) Garrett, and Rodney Garrett, all of Albany, Kentucky, three sisters, Hope Cross of Adair County, Kentucky, Billie Jack Daniel of Edmonton, Kentucky, and Vindia Goodin of North Carolina, seven grandchildren, Nick Smith, Anthony Garrett, Courtney Thacker, Chase Bowlin, Jacob Garrett, Andrew Goodman, and Landon Goodman, six great-grandchildren, Jaycee Smith, Macy Garrett, Skylan Garrett, Finnley Garrett, Livia Garrett, and Nolan Smith, with many other relatives and friends. The funeral service was conducted Friday, May 17, 2019, in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Grant officiating. Burial was in the Lands Chapel Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Adam Garrett, Chase Bowlin, Johnny Bowlin, Kevin Thacker, Logan Barnard, and Alan Groce. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
