Mrs. Debra Jo (Huddleston) Abston of Albany, Kentucky, passed away at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky on, Tuesday, October 29, 2024, having attained the age of 69 years, 6 months, and 3 days. She was born in Clinton County, Kentucky on Tuesday, April 26, 1955, the daughter of James Earl “Shot” & Virginia Lee (Smith) Huddleston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Shelia Ann Huddleston, and Tena (Huddleston) Wray.

She is survived by her husband, Kenny Abston, son, James “Jimmy” Irwin, both of Albany, Kentucky, siblings, James (& Bette) Huddleston of Greensboro, North Carolina, Jeff Huddleston, and Cindy Huddleston, both of Albany, Kentucky, nieces & nephews, Jason, Brandy Gail, Brian, Anthony, and Cassandra, 2 stepchildren, several step-grandchildren, 6 great-nieces, 4 great-nephews, and many other family and friends.

The funeral service was conducted on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home, with Bro. Donnie Shelley officiating. Burial was in the Peolia Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Anthony Huddleston, Mark Cravens, Todd Smith, Jason Wray, Kadin Wray, and Eric Guffey.
