Mr. David Eugene Harding of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee having attained the age of 78 years, 1 month, and 1 day. He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Tuesday, July 29, 1947, the son of James Leslie & Alta Alma (Thrasher) Hardin. He spent many years working as a mechanic and had a true passion for small engines, especially lawnmowers. Known for his love of tinkering and fixing just about anything, he also enjoyed swapping and trading with friends and neighbors. In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Davis) Harding, whom he wed on April 12, 1978, brothers, Alvin Hardin and Georgie Bee Hardin, great-grandchild, Raiden Brown.

He is survived by his children , David "Slick" (& Kristy) Harding, Amanda "Tiny" Harding, Leslie "Doc" (& Ashley) Harding, Robert "Stubby" (& Melinda) Harding, Allen Harding, Tammy (Hardin) Hatcher, and Patricia (Hardin) Rhule, all of Albany, Kentucky, siblings, Billy (& Shirley) Hardin of Fairland, Indiana, Ralph (& Melaine) Hardin of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Mary Beaty, and Brenda Hardin both, of Burkesville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Sarah (& Dustin) Walters, Lakota (& Trevor) Beaty, Destiny (& Robert) Bigham, Karly (& Ray) Harding, Jamison Milam, Khloe Harding, Isaiah Harding, Carson Harding, Cannon Harding, Cansen Harding, Irason Harding, Tydus Harding, Zack Rains, Kimberly (& Jonathon) Sparks, Hayden Brannon, Cody (& Chelsey) Brown, Latosha Brown, Kevin Linder, Brandon (& Emily) Gibson, Jordan (& Katie) Gibson, Zach (& Makayla) Jones, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The funeral service was conducted on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. C.S.T. in The Memory Chapel of the Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Thrasher officiating.
