Mr. Darwin Holsapple of Albany, Kentucky passed away Monday, September 9, 2019, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky, having attained the age of 73 years, 9 months, and 11 days. He was born in Clinton County, Kentucky on Thursday, November 29, 1945, the son of Bennie Holsapple and Ruth Amonett Holsapple. He was of Christian faith and a Commercial Fisherman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Ann (Craig) Holsapple, whom he married May 18, 1963, brother, Danny Holsapple, sister, Barbara Leifeld, granddaughter, Jennifer Ann Carter, and brother-in-law, Elwood Holsapple. Mr. Darwin Holsapple is survived by his daughters, Lisa (Larry) Saffell of Albany, Kentucky, Vonda (Dean) Nicholas of South Carolina, son, Jerry Holsapple of South Carolina who passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019, brother, Welby Holsapple of Albany, Kentucky, sister, Faye (Rodney) Dempsey of Monroe, Tennessee, brothers-in-law, Carl (Nila) Craig of Albany, Kentucky, Ronnie (Barbara) Craig of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, sister-in-law, Joyce Holsapple, seven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. The funeral service was conducted on Sunday, September 15, 2019, in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Harvey Dicken officiating. Burial was in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Larry Saffell, Wayne Ball, Mitchell Rheg, Phillip Holsapple, Dean Nicholas, and Wayne Holmes. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
