Mr. Calvin Dale Coffey, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, having attained the age of 71 years, 11 months, and 18 days. He was born in Franklin, Indiana on Wednesday, December 24, 1952, the son of Hobert & Mary Ina (Burchett) Coffey. He was of the Christian faith, and enjoyed working on electronics, and playing guitar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Judy Finner, Morris Wayne Coffey, Harold Dean Coffey, and daughter, Melinda Jo (Longwell) Coffey.

        He is survived by his wife, Nancy Coffey, whom he wed on Wednesday, October 13, 1976, son, Christopher Dale Coffey of Albany, Kentucky, siblings, Jimmy Coffey and Shelia Conner, both of Franklin, Indiana, grandchildren, Zachary Longwell, Gabrielle Longwell, Rayleigh Longwell, Lucas Longwell, Isaiah Coffey, Adalynn Coffey, Adyn Coffey, and great-grandchild, Melorie Longwell

The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 2:30 P.M. C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of the Campbell-New Funeral Home, with Christopher Coffey Officiating. Burial was in the Lands Chapel Cemetery. Casket bearers were James Jackson, Raleigh Longwell, Zack Longwell, Lucas Longwell, Michael Stearns, and Christopher Dale Coffey. In lieu of flowers, contributions appreciated to the Dale Coffey Memorial Fund, c/o Campbell-New Funeral Home.
