Clarence George Riddle Obituary

Mr. Clarence George Riddle of Albany, Kentucky passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019, at The Medical Center in Albany, Kentucky, having attained the age of 80 years, 3 months, and 30 days. He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Monday, July 17, 1939, the son of Carl and Ocie (Wright) Riddle. He was of Baptist faith and a farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Riddle and Herman Riddle, and sister, Jewell Ferguson. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Tompkins) Riddle, daughter, Teresa (and Mike) Williams, both from Albany, Kentucky, sisters, Lucy Nation and Wanda Scott, both of Burkesville, Kentucky, Elva Hoots of New Castle, Indiana, brothers, Ken Riddle of Albany, Kentucky, and Clifford Riddle of Burkesville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Jacob Michael Williams of Washington, D.C., and Katie Beth Williams of Albany, Kentucky, several nieces and nephews, with many other relatives and friends. The funeral service was conducted Tuesday, November 19, 2019, in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. David Stearns officiating. Burial was in the Peolia Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Jay Baise, Johnny Ferguson, Barry Tompkins, Eddie Tompkins, Shawn Riddle, and Gary Hoots. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
