Clarence Andrew Brown

Mr. Clarence Andrew Brown of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the Medical Center of Albany in Albany, Kentucky, having attained the age of 75 years, 4 months and 12 days. He was born in Albany, Kentucky on Tuesday, June 24, 1947, the son of Robert and Mary Lou (Dicken) Brown. He was a Christian man of the Baptist faith, attended Albany Independent Baptist Church, and was the owner of Browns Scrap Metal in Albany for many years until his recent retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Maggie Collins, step-daughter, Saundra (Gibson) Wright, and a nephew, Ricky Clark.

    He is survived by his wife, Julia (Burch) Brown, of Albany, Kentucky, whom he wed on Wednesday, October 3, 1979, sons, Jeff Brown, "Chopper" (& Julie) Brown, Bobby (& Chastity) Brown all of Albany, Kentucky, step-son, Steve Gibson of Crossville, Tennessee, siblings, Letha Pierce, Johnny Brown both of Albany, Kentucky, Melvin Brown of Indiana, Charlie Brown, James Brown both of Albany, Kentucky, grandchildren, Jessica Lovett, Brooke Brown, Jeffrey Brown, Bobby Brown, Jr., Jaxon Brown, Jared Brown, Kaitlyn Brown-King, Tristan Murphy, Laramie Murphy, Alexis Roberts, great-grandchildren, Kaibree Lovett, Anniston Lovett, Hadlynn Lovett, Boone Lovett, Tatum Brown, Brixton King, Genesis "Finney" Brown, Elias Murphy, Lilah Murphy, nieces, Johnna Stearns, Sis (Pierce) Shelton, Cheryl Akins, Melody Brown, Judy Birdwell, nephews, Freddie Pierce, Jacob Brown, Anthony Clark, Ricky Gene Clark,  Lewis Clark, Ernie Birdwell, and Billy Collins, along with many of family and friends. 

    The funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky, with Honorable Mike Lawson, and Bro. Melvin Daniel officiating. Special singing by Lonnie, Jewell, Ronnie, and Sandy Pyles. Casket bearers were Jaxson Brown, Jeff Brown, Jr. Allen Pierce, Matt Brown, Anthony Clark, Freddy Pierce, Jarred Brown, Timmy Shelton, Ricky Gene Clark, and Derrick Lovett. . Burial was in the Clearfork Church Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.  Campbell-New Funeral Home was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
